Sarajevo
Arrival at Sarajevo Airport. You will be welcomed and assisted at the airport.
According the flight schedule, proceed to the restaurant (have lunch). Transfer
to the hotel. Check in, dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.
Sarajevo
Breakfast at the hotel. Start Sarajevo city tour: Tunnel of Hope Museum. This
Tunnel was the only way to go in and out of Sarajevo during the 1992-95 war
siege of the city. We will continue to the Old Town to have a walking tour
around Bas-Carsija, including the Latin Bridge, where the Austro Hungarian
Archduke was assassinated which initiated the First World War, then Brusa
Bezistan - the roofed market place, Ghazi Husrev-Bey Mosque built in 1530
during the Ottoman Empire, Ghazi Husrev-Bey Madrassa, Morica Han (Inn)
built in 1551, and Vijecnica- the Town Hall ( outside view) built in the Austro-
Hungarian Period. We will have a lunch in the local restaurant. Check in the
hotel. Free time. Dinner and Overnight stay in Sarajevo.
Sarajevo – Mostar 130 km - 2,5 hours
After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will go to Mostar via
Konjic. Upon arrival in Mostar we will begin with the city tour and visit
Karacfloz-Bey Mosque and Muslibegovic House and walk around the Old
Town and Old Bridge being recognized as the UNESCO world cultural
heritage site. After a lunch in the local restaurant we will continue to the
hotel. Check in the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay in Mostar.
Mostar – Dubrovnik – Neum 180 km - 4 hours
After breakfast, check out and depart to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, we will have
a city tour of this UNES CO-protected pearl of the Adriatic Coast which
includes the Cathedral, Rector's Palace, Franciscan Monastery (including the
Old Pharmacy), Clock Tower, Orlando's Columns and Sponze Palace. Lunch in
the Old City (sea food). Prayer in the Masjid in the Old Town. Free time.
Transfer to Neum. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay in Neum.
Neum – Split 200 km - 3 hours
After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will go to Split where we
will have a walking tour around the historical city centre and see the
remnants of the Diocletian's Palace, which is recognized as the UNESCO
world cultural heritage site. We will have a lunch in the local restaurant and
you can enjoy your afternoon exploring the city on your own before we
have a dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay in Split.
Split – Plitvice – Zagreb 400 km - 5 hours
After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will have a day tour to the
famous Plitvice National Park, another UNESCO world cultural heritage site
in the Balkans. At Plitvice Lakes you will discover the breath-taking scenery of
this natural wonder that includes 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thick forest
and lush vegetation. We will have a guided walking tour around the lower
lakes and afterwards a lunch in the local restaurant. In the afternoon we will
leave for Zagreb, where we will have a dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Zagreb – Ljubljana 140 km - 2,5 Hours
After breakfast we will have a tour around Zagreb with a local guide who will
take us to the Kaptol and Gradec, Blood Bridge, Cathedral, the tallest
building in Croatia, and the Ban Jelacic Square. After the tour we will have a
lunch in the local restaurant and in the afternoon you will have your free
time to explore the city on your own, before we go to Ljubljana. Dinner and
overnight stay in the hotel in Ljubljana
Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana 60 km - 1 hour
After breakfast in the hotel we will go from Ljubljana to Bled. Bled is a glacial
lake and major tourist attraction offering a wide range of sports activities in
wonderful natural surroundings. We will have a lunch in the local restaurant
before we proceed to the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. Upon arrival in
Ljubljana we will have a tour around the city with a local guide. We will stroll
through the Old Town, see the old and new markets and pass by the
Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance buildings. We will see the famous
Triple Bridge and finish the tour on the city square with its famous Baroque
Robba Fountain. We will have a dinner in the local restaurant. Overnight stay
in Ljubljana.
