The first thing you think of when someone says Bihac is the river of Una. This masterpiece of nature in western Bosnia is definitely something that you will tell your friends about when the rush hour robs you of your last nerves. At times wild and fast flowing and at times calm and shimmering it is suitable for swimming, fishing sports or simply enjoying your time at one of the riverside restaurants whilst enjoying the shade and a freshly grilled fish from Una. The town of Bihac is also a historical point of interest with the 16 century stone tower, the Fethija Mosque which was converted from a medieval stone built church in 1595. or the castle ruins in and surrounding the town.

With Croatia’s Plitvice lakes being only 30km away, it makes you think that God has spent a bit more time in creating this remarkable piece of Earth.
